Taking inspiration from Jonathan Coulton's Re: Your Brains, Re: Your Birthday is a birthday song for Helen.

Ellipsis are two teenagers from Surrey who record songs in their bedrooms.

Brains? Birthdays? All the same. Or at the very least, similar enough to mean we could make a birthday song out of a song about brains.

Work started on the song over lunch after Alex realised the kitchen table sounded like the drums in "Re: Your Brains". We then rewrote Re: Your Brains, played it on an organ and then went slightly mad with the orchestration, recording on any instrument we could find.

The end result is surprisingly good.
